Lazy Days...

Lately the kids have been hanging out alot in their jammies. It must be something about the cold weather. :) Here are some pictures of them in the new pajamas Dick and Susan gave to them for Christmas. They look like no trouble at all, right?!?

Tate and Emmy have both learned the love of dancing. Anytime they hear music they dance, no matter what kind of music or where they are. It is so funny to watch their "moves"!! Here is Tate showing off his skills....I think he looks like his Daddy in this picture!!

Emmy's favorite thing to do (besides dancing) is to "sit". She loves to back up to things and say, "I sit". Then she will stand up again and do it all over. She will back up to your lap and turn around to tell you she is going to sit. :) As you can see, she is also holding the tags that came with her pajamas...she loves things with tags on them...I guess she started young with the tag-along that Aunt Jo made her!

Adventure at the Geer's Part II

Here are some pictures from last weekend when the kids stayed at Aunt Julie and Unlce Rick's house. Julie was nice enough to volunteer to keep the kids while Brad and I went Christmas shopping. Thank you, Julie! :) There is also a picture of Tate sweeping when we were in Clifton last. Man cheep labor is great! Just wait until he learns to use the vacuum!! Thanks for the pics, Julie!

Family Pictures

Here are some family pictures we took over Thanksgiving. It seems to get harder and harder each year to get a good picture. :) With a dog and two kids, we are lucky we are all still sane after the photo shoot. This year we had to use crackers, shoes, sitcks, morracas, and anything else we could find to try and get that perfect holiday picture! Here are the 3 decent ones out of about 100!!! Thanks, Boots, for being such a patient photographer!!

Look Mom, No Hands!!!

This is a sequence of Emmy's new trick. We have no idea where she learned it, or who taught it to her. She loves to put her snacks on the edge of the table, or chair, and pick them up with her mouth. She thinks it is just hilarious! We think it is pretty cute, just look at that face!

Couch Potato

Tate was not feeling well yesterday, I think he is getting a new tooth, so he was very clingy and lazy. Here are some pics of him sitting on the couch eating goldfish. This is very out of character
for him considering he rarely slows down to eat or to do anything else.

Need help Papaw??

Papaw came over last week to put the train up for the kids. Tate is very interested in the train and tree, but is very careful not to touch it. We have taught him to look with his eyes...when we say that he will just about poke his eye out trying to point to his eyes. :)

Uncle B's Birthday Dinner

We went out on Friday night for Uncle B's Birthday. I was not good about taking pictures, but I did get these off of Brody's website. Thanks, Molly!! :) The kids enjoyed eating mexican food...Tate especially liked the guacamole!! Emmy was not too sure about Mr. Brody, especially when Mimi was holding him. :) As you can see, we got Tate's haircut...I think it has gotten more curly!

I just returned from San Antonio where Laci (Brad's sister) had her baby girl, Ellie.
She was 7 weeks early, but is doing great.

Weekend

This weekend we went to Boots and Banty's Ranch for Aunt Laci's baby shower. I was not good about taking pictures this weekend, but I managed to get a few of the kids. I will get the pictures off of Banty's camera and post them soon.

Trick or Treat

Here are some pictures of the kids on Halloween night. As you can tell, we were a horse and a princess this year. The weather was very cool that night, so we did not stay out long, but we did go over to our neighbor's house. Ross, aka Superman, is about 5 months older than Tate and Emmy, but they had a great time running around in the yard. Emmy liked the Superman costume and Ross thought Tate was a "nice horse".
