Christmas pics...A Little Late...

These are some pictures from before Christmas. We just got them back from the picture place. The kids were not really in the mood for pictures that day, so they have serious faces on! :) The last 2 pictures are with Cousin Brody.

Explosion!!!

Banty came to visit us this weekend so that Brad and I could go to Amanda and Dave's wedding. Here are some pictures of a funny story....

1. Banty walked in and found Tate "organizing" the Diet Cokes on the windowsill. Notice Emmy just watching Tate and not touching anything...

2. Banty was just about to walk around and take the cokes away from the kids, but first she took one more picture of the organization process...also, notice the cracker Tate had to put down to play with the Diet Cokes...

3. Well, about that time...Tate dropped a Diet Coke on the floor and it busted everywhere. This is the after picture. Look at Tate's face...like "uh, oh!" and Emmy was hysterical because the Diet Coke was on her pants.

Always an adventure! Thank you Banty for coming this weekend and taking care of and cleaning up after the kids!

TuTu Emmy

Last year, Boots gave Emmy a Tutu for Christmas. She loves to play with it, but this morning she insisted we put it on her. Here are a few pictures of our beautiful ballerina.

Emmy's New Baby

This morning, Tate got into Emmy's baby stroller and she was pushing him around in it. They were just giggling about it the whole time. :)

Christmas Day...

Here are some pictures from Christmas Day at Mimi and Papaw's house. They got a playhouse and loved to go in and out of it. Emmy is very particular about the door being shut and Tate, being the typical boy, just leaves it wide open and it makes her so mad!! :) The playhouse came with a phone and they think it is so neat to carry it around. There is also a picture of Tate dumping out Emmy's teaset.

Beep...Beep...

Nana and Papa got the kids new cars for Christmas. Since it is too cold to go outside, we brought the cars inside until it gets warmer outside. Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the cars...Notice how Tate is in the Dora flower-y car and Emmy is in the red car...I guess the grass is always greener!! Too Funny!!!

Christmas 2006

Here are some pictures from the holiday. We had a great time will all of the family, the only thing we wish would be that it had lasted longer. We went to Clifton for the weekend and had Christmas with Boots, Banty, Aunt Courtney and Uncle Rooster on Saturday, we went to a Christmas party in Clifton on Saturday night, then we traveled to Mesquite to spend Christmas Eve with the Adams family, then went back to Allen for our family Christmas on Monday morning then went to Mimi and Papaw's house Monday to eat lunch and open more presents. The kids had a great time and were very well behaved through all the traveling! Some of the things they got this year were....a sand table, play cars, a playhouse, very cute books, a picnic table, a shopping cart with groceries, a tunnel system, a t-ball set, a sit n spin, other toys and lots of clothes :).

We are blessed to have such wonderful families that care so much for all of us. We missed Aunt Laci, Uncle Todd, and Miss Ellie this year!

Busted!!!

I walked in the living room last night to find the kids had taken several ornaments off the tree. As you can see, Tate was taking them off and Emmy was organizing them in her own way! What a team! :)
