Remember The Alamo...

We took the kids down to the Riverwalk and The Alamo this weekend. As you can tell from the picture, Tate is more interested in the grass in front of the Alamo than the actual building and Emmy was not real impressed either (afterall, it was not a castle!).

San Antonio Trip

This weekend we went to San Antonio to visit Aunt Laci and Uncle Todd. We had a great time at the riverwalk and the Alamo. We also took the kids swimming at Mimi and Papaw's hotel. They loved the new floats Mimi and Papaw bought him.

Playing...

Emmy has officially started to crawl...YEA!!!!! Now we are really on our toes chasing kids all around the house! :) She loves to follow behind Tate and try to do what he does. Tate is happy to have a mobile companion. They still love outside and love to look out the front and back doors.

Where's Tater????

Here is a picture of Tate playing his version of peek-a-boo. He covers one eye when you say "Where's Tater?" and then jerks his hand away and laughs. He likes the game, but he wants to make sure he can see you. So Funny!!

Swimming

We bought the kids a new swimming pool yesterday at Walmart and we tried it out when Brad got home last night. As you can see, Tate was petrified of the whole situation. He was much happier outside the pool on the towel playing in the grass. Emmy loved the water. She sat in the pool by herself for the longest time. Then, Brad got in with her and she splashed and played. It is still so funny to us how opposite they are with everything!

Aunt Laci...Thanks for the swimsuits...they worked great!!

Mother's Day and Baby Dedication

Sunday was not only Mother's Day, but also baby dedication at our church. We had the whole family in to visit and had a wonderful time seeing everyone.



We also got a HUGE surprise annoucement... Tate and Emmy will be getting a new cousin around Christmas...Aunt Laci and Uncle Todd are expecting!!!
We are so excited for them and we continue to pray for their baby which is due December 29th!!

The kids found a new place to play yesterday, the back of Brad's truck! :)

Movin' and shakin'

Well, as you can imagine, it is getting crazy at the Greene house lately. The kids are starting to interact more and more with each other every day. They get excited to see each other after naptime and in the morning. Tate loves to give Emmy kisses, but he also likes to take her toys away from her. Since he is crawling he takes the toys and moves them out of her reach. They are so funny to watch.

Huckleberry and Emmy have become best buds thanks to the recent addition to Cheerios and pancakes to Emmy's diet. Huckleberry loves to sit by Emmy's chair and wait for her to feed him. She looks for him when he is outside and loves to laugh at him. She is attempting the crawling thing, but does not have it down yet.













Tate has the crawling thing down and is now pulling up and walking around things. He loves to push things on his knees and carry things in his hands while he crawls.
