Tonight we took the kids to the Fall Carnival at our church. Here are some pictures of them when we were waiting to leave. They did really well with the costumes. Emmy the "Tur-Tul"

Red's Gathering...

This weekend, we took the kids back to the Red Stegall's Cowboy Gathering in Ft. Worth. They had a great time watching the rodeo and seeing all the exciting things. We had a great time seeing Boots, Banty, Rooster and Courtney. My Cowboy and Cowgirl

She loved her boots with her skirt

This was the look he had through the entire rodeo.

I thought this was a cute pic of her in her "Emmy" panties and boots.

Fall Party

On Tuesday, the kids had their Fall Party at school. They made pumpkins, went out to the playground and found a pumpkin to take home, and ate cookies. It was neat to see them in their school "environment". It made me feel so at ease because they were so comfortable there. Daddy helping Tate make his pumpkin.

The finishing touches...

Tate was being so silly, it was had to get a good picture.

"Taw" Boys and "Taw" Girls...

Well, Tate decided he wants to be a "taw-boy" (cowboy) for Halloween this year, so Boot's took him to Cavender's to pick out some cowboy attire. I have to say, he looks pretty darn cute in it! :) Hopefully we will get some good pictures of him on Halloween, but we are practicing wearing the boots and hat every night so he does not freak out on Halloween. Banty found them a stick horse to play with because Tate was under the impression the real "Pop-Top" was going to come and trick or treat with him as part of his costume. (Just the thought of Boot's and Pop-A Top walking down our street trick or treating makes me laugh!)
Here are some pictures of the first night they had it. Cutest "taw-boy" I have ever seen!

Very serious!

Galloping along...

Emmy was a natural at galloping.

She had her pink boots on, but decided she could go faster without them.
(Just in case you are wondering, she has chosen to be a "tur-tul" for Halloween (of course), hopefully there will be some pictures to follow.)

Jesus Loves Me...

Take one...

Weekend with Brody B...

This past weekend, Brody B. spent the night with Mimi and Papaw while Unc B and Auntie M celebrated their anniversary. We went over and spent Saturday evening with them. Emmy trying to "blow" a daisy...

Our little angel. :)

He was upset at this point because he lost his "famous" blue turtle he carries EVERYWHERE!!! It has still not been found, but he has moved on to the pumpkin pez dispenser. :) Crazy Kid!!

Emmy would say, "Browy B. (Brody B.) I wase (race) you!"

Getting a little golf practice in.

Bubble Wrap...

Who knew bubble wrap could be this much fun?
A lady at Brad's work sent home a large piece for the kids to play with, so one night before bed (yes, I know this is not a "calming activity" before bed!) I laid it out for them to jump on. They LOVED it (this includes Brad who was right in the middle of it all), but I was glad when every last bubble was popped! :)
It truly is the simple things in life, I guess it is a cheap toy!!! :)

Thanks, Jo Jo!

Aunt Jo (Jo Jo) sent the kids a Little People Thanksgiving set. The kids love to play with it, especially Tate. He loves the Pilgrims and Indians, and likes the horse-drawn wagon. :)
Thank you Jo Jo for sending it to us! Sometimes Emmy just messes all his stuff up!

Putting the pieces exactly where they belong while Trouble looks on.

She is counting here, you can just see that brain working! :)

Pumpkin Patch #2...

Yesterday, we went to the pumpkin patch with Mimi, Papaw, Unc B, Auntie M and Brody B. The kids had a great time feeding the animals and running around. Here are some pictures... The kids were looking at the ride, not at all interested in a picture.
