2 Weeks in Review...

I have been a bad blogger, so I have some catching up to do!
We have had lots going on the past few weeks... Banty came to stay with us for a week while Boots and Rooster were at the JA.
We enjoyed having Banty here! :)

Emmy and Daddy went on their first "official" date.

They went to Cici's pizza for some mac and cheese pizza and cinnamon rolls, then to get Daddy some shoes and then to Lowe's to pick out some flowers (pink, of course) for the yard. She was so excited to get some one on one time with Daddy. Brad said she just kept saying, "We're on a date, Dada!" This was the first of many. Notice the pink dress, pink shoes, pink bow, pink necklace, pink lamb and pink turtle purse...the girl knows how to coordinate!!

Daddy with the kiddos...Tate and I went over to play with Cousins Audrey and Lauren while Daddy and Emmy went on a date.

Tate had to help Daddy in the yard with all those pink flowers Emmy picked out.

Such a good little helper!!

We went over to Brody B's house for hamburgers and fun.
Emmy was giving a private concert here! :)

Last night, we were playing outside and we got two visitors...ducks!

They were very hungry, so we fed them some hot dog buns.

They were not scared of us at all...I think they would have let us pet them, if we tried! :)

Emmy is in a pull up because she had gotten her dress soaked with the hose and Tate had gotten his shorts wet and it was too close to bath time to get out new clothes!

We also had another sonogram last week to check on the baby. Everything looked great. She is in the 53% for growth and was moving like crazy!

Brad and I will be leaving tomorrow for a much needed vacation to Mexico. I am so excited, but I know I will miss the kids for the whole week! That is the longest we have been away from them. But, they are going on their own little vacation to Boots and Banty's house and then to Mimi and Papaw's house. Thank you to all of you for helping us out! I know the kids will have a blast!

School Pictures

A few weeks ago, the kids had pictures taken at school. As you can see, Emmy was not thrilled with the idea, but Tate was his regular cheesey self. :) They have really enjoyed school this year. They have a very sweet teacher. The class...Lots of boys!!!

Meeting Connor...

Last Friday, we met Rick, Sharyn and Connor for lunch. We exchanged baby stuff for maternity stuff. :) Connor is such a sweet little man and the kids loved seeing him. Emmy wanted to "pet" his head. It is great practice for baby sister. :) Thank you, Rick and Sharyn for making the trip, it was great to see you! Emmy, Connor and Tate

Happy 33 Months...

Today, the kids are 33 months old. What joy these two have brought to our lives in the short amount of time they have been part of our family. 3 years ago, I would never have imagined having such amazing children. They are truly the light of our lives and we thank God for them everyday. I thank them for teaching me what life is all about. :)They are best friends...

Emmy has gotten into "posing" for the camera.

In a dress at all times!

Being silly!

Tate loves his bubble blower :)

He has learned to scale the wall on Mimi and Papaw's playgrund.

Getting dirty makes for a great afternoon! :)

Hanging out with Brody B.

Yesterday, Uncle B and Cousin Brody came over to play at Mimi and Papaw's house. It was a beautiful afternoon, so the kids spent most of the time out on the playground. By the end they all needed a good scrubbing, but that means it was a great afternoon, right? We missed Auntie M and hope she is feeling better today. Emmy, Tate and Brody
