Petting Zoo...

On Friday, Mimi and I took the kids to the petting zoo. We got there before it got too hot and the kids had a great time. Hot, tired and ready to go home.

Outside Fun...

Tonight we were hanging out in the backyard and Dada started watering the flowers and, as you can see, it got a little out of hand. :) Best Buddies

Just another Rainy Day...

After the kids flew the kite, it started to pour down rain. Of course, Emmy and I had to get out of the rain, but Tate and Dada decided to make it a fun rainy day! Here are some pictures of the boys, well, being boys! My two favorite boys, all wet and dirty!
Say Cheese!
I need back inside! I will melt out there in the rain!

Dada is too cool to do this with me!

Great day to fly a kite...

Today, Dada and Emmy searched for kites for the kids to fly. They finally found some and we had a great time flying them this evening. Dada, Emmy and Tate flying the kite.
Look at that hair blowing in the wind.

The Tater Gator...

While Daddy took Emmy to Lowe's with him this afternoon, Tate and I went out to drive the Gator around in the school parking lot. Mimi, Papaw, Brad and I got this for the kids birthday and they love to go out and drive it in the evenings. Today, I under-estimated the duration of the battery life on these things. We rode for at least an hour and the only way I got him in was for dinner. Tate and Pop-Top ready for a drive in the Gator.

Making sure Pop-Top is in his spot.
He did not want Pop-Top to ride up front. He told me "No, that is Sissy's seat!"
I love how he puts his arm around the back of the seat.
I guess he is practicing for impressing the girls later! :)

Off for a drive.
You can see the Baylor bumper sticker in this picture (thanks Boots and Banty!).

When we were out riding there was a real John Deere tractor bailing hay and Tate had to stop and watch it.

Sneaky...

Yesterday morning I was getting ready for the day and the kids thought it was very cool to go to Brad's side of the closet and hang out. Emmy went and found all the babydolls she owns and Tate went and found his Pop-Top (horse) to bring with them. They were just sitting there talking to each other and the toys they brought in. They thought they were being sneaky, but I won too because they were contained and still for at least 15 minutes (a rare thing at our house). :) Here are the pictures I got...
Here are some pics of Emmy when she wanted to wear Tater's hat...

Good Game, Josh!!!

Last night we took Tate out to Frisco for the Roughriders/Missions baseball game to watch Cousin Josh pitch. We were not sure how he would do, but he ended up staying the whole game. He ate nachos, a hot dog and any other snacks we had in the bag. He loved the atmosphere of the ballpark. I was planning on leaving early to get Emmy (she stayed with Mimi and Papaw), but Tate wanted to stay and leave with Daddy. When they got home around 10:30 Tate was still so pumped up about the game he was going around the house saying, "Good, Game, Josh!...Josh, Good Game!" We did not get him to bed until after 11, so he slept late this morning, as you can imagine. Ready to go!

A Typical Evening

Here are some photos of a "typical" evening at our house.
The kids just finished eating and I looked over at Emmy and this is what I found... They get funnier and funnier each day. I love the fact they are "pretending" more and are not afraid to do their own thing, no matter how strange it may seem. :) Here are some other pics of what happened the rest of the evening...
(I know, I know...all the cute clothes they have and I have them in diapers!!!)

Let me show you how, Tata!

Just a relaxing evening at home.

A little Wrestle-Mania time!

The giggles when they are playing like this are priceless.

Football anyone?
Yelling "DADA" when he walks in the door.

Picking out a bedtime story

("Sixteen Cows", no doubt).
