A Very Busy...

Well, Daddy has been gone on his annual hunting trip with the boys, so the kids and I have stayed very busy this past week...as Tate says, "Mama, we had a VERY busy week!!!"Here are some of the things we have been up to... Mommy got all the Christmas decorating done...
Daddy will be very excited when he gets home...

We watched the Wizard of Oz about 100 times...in a row!!!...

Lyla has just gotten more adorable...

We have read lots of books...

Cousin Lindsey came to meet Lyla and play...

Banty stayed with us for a few days...

We celebrated Uncle B's birthday at Mi Cocina...his favorite dessert is Mimi's homemade chocolate pies (YUMMY!), and Tate was not understanding a birthday party with no cake...so, on the way home we had to stop by the store and get a cupcake. When we got home, we sang Happy Birthday to Uncle B and blew out the candles...Thanks Uncle B for totally confusing the kid!! :)

Tate The Cowboy...

On Saturday, Papaw was shooting a commercial for Pink's Western Wear here in Dallas and needed a "little cowboy" for a small part. Well, it just so happens a cute little cowboy lives at our house. :)

Miss Lyla...

Miss Lyla is already 7 weeks old...WOW!! She is still a very easy baby and just fits right in with our already crazy schedule. Here are some pictures of her from the last few weeks. All warm in her jammies

Her first time to meet Uncle Todd

Sound asleep...this is what she is doing if there is not a bottle around! :)

Such a big girl! Notice the cheeks!! :)

Trick or Treat!!

On Halloween night, we went to Clifton to trick or treat downtown. The kids enjoyed walking around and getting candy. Mommy was a little scattered that day (I know, shocking...right???), so the kids ended up trick or treating with grocery sacks...I promise we have cute candy buckets at home in the top of the closet. :) The Hot Dog and Cowgirl Ballerina

Lyla loved the Snugli...she got to look around at everything.

Church Carnival...

On Wednesday night, we went to our church carnival for a few hours. The kids had a great time riding some rides and playing the games for candy. The weather was beautiful, so we stayed the whole time. She got a flower painted on her cheek

Lisa kept Lyla inside the church while we took the big kids out to the carnival. They had a great time bonding! Thanks, Lisa!
