Ready for Nana's House

These pictures are for Aunt Laci. She bought Emmy this cute bunny t-shirt in North Carolina. Just to let you know, Tate loves it too. He about knocked her over this morning trying to point to the "hop-hop" on her shirt. Of course, Brad thought the skirt was a little short, but we all know chubby legs are cute at this age! :)

She loves this M&M counting book. It came out of one of many tubs of books that Mimi let us borrow. She actually slept with it last night. :)

Striking a pose.

All tucked in...

Everynight before I go to bed, I do one last check on the kids. It has become a habit since they were born. I know they are fine in there, afterall we have the monitor, but I just love sneaking in there in the dark and watching them sleep and breathe. It makes me sad they take up more than half of their cribs now! Again, it just reminds me of how blessed we are to have such healthy, happy kids.
They are our two little miracles, more than we could have ever dreamed of. God is good!!!!

Snuggle-Bug

Tonight, Tate was having a hard time going to sleep, so Brad took him in the extra room to settle him down. He cuddled up and went to sleep on the big bed. Here are some pictures of our sweet little Tater sleeping. I LOVE just watching them sleep. It reminds me of what a blessing they are to us.

Passed out!!!!

Snack Time...

Tate and Emmy used their picnic table this afternoon to eat their snacks. Our backyard has turned into a kiddie playplace!! :) Yes, Emmy is wearing Tate's "tur-tul" outfit. It was just not worth the fight today. :) At least she had pink shoes on.

Cheese Taters!!!

Today, Mimi and I took the kids to the mall for lunch. We got the kids some refried beans (a favorite of theirs) and some cheese with chips. They loved the beans and were eating them great on their own, but I looked away for a second and Tate had his spoon in the cheese. He was eating nacho cheese with a spoon. Weird kid!!!! Here are some pictures from our outing.

MMMMM....Even cheese and cinnamon chips are good together!

Do I have something on my face?

So Good!!

I am very serious about eating!

Tater the driver.

Tate was getting on Emmy's nerves at this point! We went home and took a nap. :)

Look - A - Likes

Brad and I were looking through some pictures last night of when we were about Tate and Emmy's age. We decided they are definitely our kids...no DNA tests needed here! :) It is amazing how much they resemble both of us at this age.

Brandy...

I know I have seen this "mad" face on Tate before!!!

Emmy likes to smile this way sometimes.

I showed Emmy this picture this morning and asked her who it was and she said "Sissy"

(her name for herself), so funny! :)

Brad...

I have seen this grin a few times from our Tater
and we know where Emmy got her sweet-tooth!

They both got thier dancing skills from their Daddy!!!

Emmy will shake her booty just like this! :)

This is exactly the face Tate will make when he is trowing a fit

(see, Daddy, even you did it)!!! HA HA!!! :)

Tate got the styling curls from his daddy! Just look at that hair and smile. :)

Sand Table...

Boots and Banty gave the kids this sand table for Christmas. We got it out this afternoon and put the sand in it. The kids loved playing with the sand and all the toys. Yes, they are outside in their pajamas!!! Just a relaxing day. :)

Hanging out...

Here are some more pics from the weekend. We had a great time with everyone. Thank you to Mimi and Papaw for the great food!
Auntie M, Brody, Tate, Mimi and Emmy hanging out in the sandbox.

Cousin Brody, so cute!!! He loved the sandbox and the swing.

Playing with the sand.

Working together.

Emmy also had a great weekend. She loves to play outside. Her personality gets sweeter each day. She loved hanging out with Cousin Brody. I bet I can swing higher than you!

She will climb these steps without any help.

Waiting to slide.

Striking a pose with Uncle B.

Hello!

WEEEEEE!

I wish I knew what they were talking about! :)

Just hanging out with Cousin Brody.

Crazy Little Man...

Tate had a great weekend. I can say this for him because about 90% of Saturday was spent outside (his favorite place to be). Mamaw had some friends come in from Alabama to visit, so we went over to Mimi and Papaw's house to visit, eat, and of course play outside. WEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Tate loves to slide down the slide by himself, of course!!!
Hey, Uncle B, will you catch me if I fall?

He will sit at the top of the slide until he is ready to go.

Hey, guys, I think I can do this....

Tate playing in the sandbox with Brody and Uncle B.

Just minding his own business.

Our Friend Carson...

On Friday, I watched our friends, The Walsh's, baby. Carson is a very sweet baby. Tate and Emmy were not too sure of what to think of another baby in the house. Tate never really warmed up, he would look at Carson, point to the door, and say "go". Emmy warmed up to him at the end of the day, but she was just wanting to mother him. Here are some pictures of her trying to get Carson to take his pacifier.
Don't worry...I will take care of you.

Here, put this in your mouth...

No, seriously, put this in your mouth, now!!!!

At least I know if we are blessed enough to have a third child, Emmy will be lots of help! :)
