Luau Anyone????

We went down to the ranch this weekend for Aunt Courtney and Uncle Rooster's wedding shower Luau. The kids loved it because it was outdside (see next post) and because they got to see lots of people.

Here are some pictures from the ride home last night. We were playing peek a boo in the truck.

Thanks to Boots and Banty for letting us invade the ranch...we always have such a great time! Love you guys! :)

Watering the Kids

Every evening about 5:30 Tate starts to get very impatient with us if we have not taken him outside. He loves to go out and look at the grass and trees. He likes to get leaves off the trees and study them. Emmy also likes to sit on a blanket and enjoy the outdoors. Since it has been over 100 degrees here for the past 2 weeks we have not gotten to go out as much. When we were at Boots and Banty's ranch this weekend we took the kids out and gave them a waterhose so they would not get too hot. They had a blast spraying each other, drinking out of the hose and they liked it when Brad "watered" them. :)

A Country Bath

When we were in Clifton this weekend Brad and Adam gave Tate a country bath outside. As you can see from the pictures, he loved it!

Double Trouble!

It's official...we have DOUBLE TROUBLE!! And believe it or not...Emmy is the instigator!!!
She found the tupperware cabinet yesterday (please excuse the mess!) and Tate joined right in. She has also discovered the baby wipes and how much fun they are to pull out and throw everywhere!

The Alligator Tube...

We had a great time this weekend. Mimi bought Tate a tunnel shaped like an alligator. Tate loves to play in it. He takes his toys in and will play for an hour alone in the tunnel. Daddy got in on the action by laying in the tube, but that did not stop Tate from crawling through! Emmy was not wild about it at first, but by the end of the weekend she was going through it real fast. :) Boots, Banty, Aunt Laci and Aunt Courtney were here this weekend. We love having a house full of family and the kids love having all the entertainment and showing off. :)

Tate has also discovered how to help Daddy water the plants and flowers. Brad will put him in the wagon and drag him all over the yard while he waters (of course, I think Tate gets watered more than the plants do!).

Our Trip to the O.R.

On Tuesday morning, Tate and Emmy went in to get tubes put in their ears. Everything went great during and after surgery. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully, this will prevent any future ear infections.

Here are some BEFORE pictures. They thought it was pretty cool they got to ride in a wagon at the hospital. Plus, the little gowns they had on were too cute. :)

A Very Happy Birthday!

Well, Tate and Emmy are officially 1 year old! This year has flown by and they have made so many changes. We went to Chuck E. Cheese on Friday night for dinner and we had a party at the house on Saturday. They had a great time with all the wonderful friends and family who came to see them. We see how truly blessed we are to have two happy, healthy children. Thank you to everyone who made this past year so special to us.

Here are some pics of the kids in thier new wagons. Uncle B and Auntie M gave them a wagon for the house (and they do love it, Emmy is just having a moment).

And, Boots, Banty, Uncle Rooster and Aunt Courtney gave them a wagon for the wedding and the ranch. They are great alternatives to a stroller.

Happy Birthday Princess!

Here are some pics of Emmy...

She was not so crazy about Chuck E. Cheese. She liked a few of the rides, but it took a while for her to warm up to them. She really liked the pizza. :) She was not sure what to think about the cake and did not get much of it in her mouth or hands (but Tate did manage to get blue icing on her!) Brad put some cheerios on top and she picked them off! She really liked the princess chair and all her new clothes.
