Peek-A-Boo and Sleeping Beauty

Emmy has also learned the art of Peek-A-Boo. It is funny that both her and Tate play the same way (they only cover one eye)! She is getting very expressive these days and lets all of us know when she is and is not happy.

I had to get this picture of her sleeping.

Two Pig Tails and a Mohawk...

We were having a little fun last night with the kids hair. Emmy finally has enough hair to make into pig tails and we gave Tate the mohawk look. They have been sick with ear infections this week, but thanks to some antibiotics they are feeling much better. :)

Here is a picture of their matching 4th of July outfits.

Flag Shirt

These are a few pictures for Aunt Laci of Emmy's new red white and blue shirt.

Father's Day...

Well yesterday was Brad's first official Father's Day. We went to church and then went out to lunch to celebrate. The kids and I made him a shirt for Father's Day.

As most of you can imagine, paint and two 11 month old children do not mix well together! :) We got the shirt done and he loved it! Here are some pictures of the entire process and the outcome!

Look Boots...We have shoes on!!

Well, after 11 months of life, Tate and Emmy wore shoes for longer than 10 minutes yesterday. For those of you who know me, I hate shoes and I think I have passed this onto my children! :)

Boots will be glad to know they wore them to church today and kept them on! Tate's feet are what Brad calls Fred Flinstone feet (fat and round like tennis balls!)

Our new toy...

Yesterday we bought the kids a car they can ride on. Tate had such a fit over it at the store we had to take one home.

Here are some pictures of Tate and Emmy enjoying the toy. The picture of them together was right before Tate pushed the car and Emmy fell off. :) As you can see, Emmy is becoming quite the little ham for the camera.

Standing on his own two feet...

Well, Tate has learned the art of standing. He will pull up on something and then just let go and forget what he is doing. We can picture him one day (soon) just turning and walking away like it is no big deal.

Huckleberry's Bed

Well, the kids have found a new favorite spot to play...Huckleberry's bed. They are attracted to it whenever our bedroom door opens. It is just too funny to watch. :)
