Pajama Day...

Yesterday, we had a pajama day at our house. We are all battling a cold/allergy attack. The dust storm on Saturday did not help us any. Not a very exciting weekend, just trying to feel better. Here are some pictures of the kids playing yesterday in their pajamas.
They prefer to sit in the chairs this way...goofy!

He will put ANYTHING he can find in the basket. It is amazing at the end of the day what he has collected! He lifted the chair himself and put it in the basket.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Laci

Here are some pictures from our weekend in Clifton... We wouldn't cause any trouble at all, right?

Tate, Aunt Laci, and Emmy

Playing with Banty.

Playing with the jewelry.

Miss Ellie all pooped out!!!

Tater...

Here are some pictures of Tate from the weekend...
The Tater!

We finally caught the "curl twirl" on camera. This is what he does when he gets tired. He grabs the curls on the back of his head and twists them.

Tate and Banty...you can almost hear him saying "sit". He wants everyone to be sitting right around him while he plays.

Boots and Tate playing with the loudest tractor toy in the world! :)

Tate all bundled up and ready to go outside. He loved walking down to the barn and seeing the horses. He loved "Pop-Top" (Pop-A- Top) the best. Now every horse he sees in a book is "Pop-Top."

Here are Boots and Tate all bundled up and headed outside for a walk to the barn.

Can we say "sucker"???? Boots took Tate outside and a few minutes later we see them ride by the window on the lawn mower. :)

Here is Tate being goofy and sitting in Ellie's chair and swing.

Emmy...

Here are some pictures of Emmy's weekend...

Emmy with Aunt Laci's babydoll from when she was little.

Emmy giving the baby kisses.

Emmy thought she was a big help by pushing Ellie in the swing.

These are her bunny ears from last year.

Emmy thought she would go back to her baby ways in the bouncy chair and swing.

Uncle Rooster was giving her a bath, just look at that hair don't!!

Tate slept through this photo session, but he had on the same pajamas as the girls.

We told Emmy to hold Ellie's hand, how cute are they?

Banty got out some jewels for Emmy to play with.

Spagehtti with a little CHEESE!!!

We went to Boots and Banty's house this weekend to help celebrate Aunt Laci's birthday. I will post some pictures from Laci's camera tomorrow, but here are some I got on my camera with the kids eating spaghetti.
They have learned to say "cheeeeeese!" when the camera is pointed at them.

Cookies????

Brad got the kids some Valentine's cookies with their names on them. As you can see, they really enjoyed them!

Two little Valentines

Last night, Tate and Daddy took us out to dinner. We had a great time with the kids. Here are some pictures I got before we left for dinner...

Tate and Emmy sitting in their chairs.

Emmy looking just so excited to be dressed up
(she was not in the mood, afterall, she took only a 30 minute nap yesterday).

Tate putting stickers on his car.

Big Helper...

I have been trying to teach the kids to pick up after themselves by making it a game. At night, before we take our baths, we take off their day clothes and tell them to go put them in the dirty clothes. They will take the clothes to their closet, put them in the hamper, and close the door. I caught Tate helping out last night with the dirty clothes. Of course, he doesn't really know when to stop "helping" because I found Emmy's shoes, a few hangers, and some toys in the hamper the other day. Hey, it is the thought that counts, right?

Tate carrying the clothes down the hall.

Wanna Trade?

I am not sure if it is a twin thing or a Tate and Emmy thing, but they love to trade things. One will be playing with a toy or book and the other will go and find something the other one likes and work a trade. They have their own language for trading and it always sounds the same. I cannot understand it, but they get what each other is saying. If they think it is a fair trade they will trade the objects, if not they will reject the trade. Sometimes this ends up in a fight, but they try to resolve it with fair trading. It is hard to capture this on camera, but here they are trying to trade the book and the cover.
Emmy has the cover and Tate has the book.
Emmy offers to trade the cover for the book.
Tate does not like the offer....so.....
they throw the cover to the side and fight over the book.

Happy Birthday, Mimi!

On Saturday night we went out to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Mimi's birthday. We had lots of people join us...Mimi, Papaw, Uncle B, Auntie M, Brody, Cousins Shelly and Davis, Aunt Jo, Aunt BJ, and Mamaw. We had lots of fun celebrating! I do have to say it was a circus with all the kids. I need to appologize to the staff for the mess we left on the floor!!!!Emmy and Brody discussing the current events!
Cousin Brody and Cousin Davis (they are 4 months apart and were very interested in each other). Davis was so funny with the camera...he would anticipate the flash and squish his face up!
