Read, Read, Read....

The kids are REALLY into reading these days, but they only want to read TAILS...Here are some pics from the weekend of the kids getting read to by Mommy, Uncle Rooster and Auntie Jo...

Two little fish...

Tate and Emmy LOVE the water. We went swimming this weekend at Mimi's house.






Tate loves to walk/run under the waterfall and Emmy likes to crawl on the steps. Neither one of them are scared of the water. They laugh when they go under. :)

Late Night with Tater

Well, Saturday night was another one of Tate's "I'm not sleepy" nights. We put him in the bed several times and each time he just screamed and cried. He was not finished playing for the day.


He must have been in a modeling mood because he really turned it on for the camera. He then wanted some goldfish, his new favorite food...actually the only thing he will eat now! Then Huckleberry wanted some goldfish, so Tate fed him...so funny! He finally went down about 11:30.

Our Bookworm...

Emmy has a new found love....BOOKS! She loves the book "Tails" the best. She got it for her birthday from Michael and Erika. We read it over and over again. Anytime she sees the book she points to it and she will find it across the room when we tell her to go get her book. Here are some pics of Brad reading to her last night.

The Next Tiger....

Well, you have heard of Tiger Woods, but have you heard of Tater Greene?? He got a golf set from Aunt Julie last weekend and he loves to walk around the house with the 2 clubs. He has not used them as weapons on Emmy (yet), but I am sure the time is not too far away! :) Here are some pics of him with the clubs and with a golf ball and baseball. As you can imagine, this makes Brad VERY proud!!! Thank you again Aunt Julie for the clubs! :)

Adam and Courtney's Wedding

This past weekend we all traveled to Brownwood for Uncle Rooster and Aunt Courtney's wedding. The kids were great! They were the flowergirl and ring bearer. The wedding was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing everyone. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Swim before we walk...

Well, she may not be interested in walking, but Emmy is a natural at swimming.



















She kicks her feet and moves her arms in the water. It is too funny to watch. :) Just look at those dainty little legs! Ha Ha!!

Fish Lips

I finally caught a picture of Emmy and her fish lips. :) This is her new face she likes to make. She also like to say "da da da da" while she makes the fish lips. I hope to catch it on video soon. :)

Cousin Davis' Visit

Last week Aunt Jo, Cousin Shelly and Cousin Davis came to visit. Here is a picture we managed to take. It was very difficult to get all 3 kids still and happy. :) Thank you guys for coming to see us.

Our First Playdate

Today we hosted out first playdate. We had over some of my KD friends from college and thier kids. In all, there were 7 kids, Tate, Emmy, Camille, Jack, Aidan, Cody and Blake. It was fun to see all the kids together and it was nice talking with other moms. Here are some pictures from the day, Camille made the kids a crown, some liked them, some didn't! :) Tate liked playing with all the "big boys" and Emmy liked baby Aidan (We almost caught the kiss on camera).

I can say all the kids, and adults, were tired out. I know the twins slept well this afternoon. :) Thanks for the pictures Lauren! Here is a video of the kids playing...
