Cowboy Pics
Tate went down to the ranch back in May when Emmy had her dance recital. He got to go to the Clifton Fair and Rodeo, plus go down to the corral and play with Boots.

They were sitting out by the pool and Tate heard the old windmill squeak, he thought it was an elephant, so he and Boots went on an elephant hunt together. :)
Poor Hank somehow ended up with the rope wrapped around him.
Down at the horse barn, Tate and Boots played “rodeo”. Boots is the designated announcer and Tate is “Tater Greene – Rodeo Man!”

Let’s just say, when I picked him up that afternoon, he had a little bit of an “odor” to him. :) But, that is what being a cowboy is all about, right? :)

Lyla-Time
Last week while the kids were at a Day-Camp offered by Allen ISD I got to spend some time with Miss Lyla. On Friday, we went to meet some of my KD Sisters at a splash park. Unfortunately, we did not get to stay long due to nap time and picking up the older kids, but Lyla enjoyed splashing for a little while so I could visit with some friends. :)
She had her 9 month appointment last week…

Cabin Fever!
We are all recovering here…Mommy from a stomach bug and the kids from Strep, so we have been laying low for the past few days. While I was putting Lyla down for a nap, Tate and Emmy started their own dance party in the living room. Emmy was Cinderella (shocker, I know!) and Tate was Cowboy/Baseball Charming! :)
They were so funny, making up the “rules” of dancing as they went! :) Emmy has been dressed like this for 2 days…

The Big 0-4!
Ok, the kids turning 4 was way harder than turning 3! They are not toddlers anymore! For their actual birthday (the 7th) we took them out to Cici’s Pizza (their choice) and then back to the house to open their presents from Mommy and Daddy.

Showing off their stuff…Tate got new batting gloves, a t-ball bat and some tennis balls to practice with. :) Emmy got a new Dancing Strawberry Shortcake Movie and a gift certificate to Sweet and Sassy (a girl’s salon) for a “Pampered Princess Day”. She will get a wash, cut and style plus her toes and nails done. :) Hopefully we will get to do this early next week.
They also had their 4 year check up last week. Just for comparison…

Pretty In Pink…
Emmy has been attending the “Pretty In Pink” summer camp this week. Two of her friends from dance class are in there with her…Mollie and Claire. These three have the best time together. We had a play date this afternoon at our house. 
I think they each had 5 popsicles!
