Pampered Princess Day

Last week, I took Emmy for her “Pampered Princess Day” at Sweet & Sassy.  Brad and I had gotten her a gift certificate for her birthday.  It included a hair wash, cut, style (complete with glitter), face painting, a pedicure and manicure.

Next, she moved on to the manicure and pedicure…  Tate was right there to make sure Emmy was being taken care of.  :)

 

Just look at those fun fingers and toes!  She even got a ring and toe ring to accessorize!

After they finish with the spa treatments, there is a runway they can walk down to show off their new hair and nails.  She LOVED it!  They have all this fun music playing…Tate liked it too…

I think she liked it considering the last thing she said was, “Mommy, can we do this again tomorrow?”

Mommy’s Birthday

Last weekend we celebrated by big #31!  We went out with family to Nate’s for dinner on Friday night and Saturday night Brad surprised me with a dinner with some friends at Blue Fish for sushi!  I had a great weekend with friends and family…thank you for a great birthday!

After dinner, we went over to a little “village” with the kids so they could burn off some of the sugar from the cake!  :)

Brody and Maggie’s Birthday Party

Last Saturday, I took the girls to Cousin Brody and Maggie’s Birthday Party.  Their birthdays are 3 days apart, so they had a party at My Gym.  Emmy and Lyla had a great time with all the fun things they had to do there.  Unfortunately, Tate was not able to go because he had his tonsils out last week and is still not able to run or jump yet, so Daddy took him to the movies instead.  :)

 

 

The little ones had more fun on the zip line…they were not scared at all!  :)

The Divers…

 These two have become quite the little swimmers this summer.  They have gotten to where they rarely use their life jackets anymore.  They just about wear themselves out getting out of the pool and jumping in over and over again.  Here they are showing off some of their moves… Ready brother?

And, yes, he got in trouble for this next move, but I did get a great pic of him pushing her in…and he got an ear-full from her after he did it…

 

Of course, Emmy’s diving was a mix between a fashion show and dance recital mixed in with some diving…she is a mess!  :)

Sweet Sisters

I have a feeling these two will get in plenty of trouble in the years to come.  :)  So sweet to watch them interact… 

4th Birthday Party

 Tate and Emmy had a wonderful time at their birthday party.  It was a cowboy/princess/circus theme…I guess that is what you get when you let two 4 year olds plan the party.  :)  We had swimming, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and ice cream.  Thank you to Mimi and Papaw for letting us use your house for the party.

Soccer Stuff, a new barn, art stuff (lots and lots for Emmy!), new boots, cameras, leapsters, and many, many more things we are having so much fun playing with.  :)  Thank you to everyone for making the day so special for Tate and Emmy!
