Play, Play, Play

Last week, we got to hang out with our friend, Jack, twice. Jack is a little younger than the kids, but they play well together. I enjoy visiting with Jack's mom while the kids play. Last week we had Jack over to play and then joined their playgroup on Friday at the park. The kids were very brave when it came to the "big" slide. After Jack left on Wednesday, Emmy said, "Where's Jack? I yike (like) him!" The best pic we have of them playing.

"Go Daddy!!!"

On Monday nights, Brad is playing softball with some guys from our Sunday School class.
The kids love going out to the ballpark to cheer him on, of course I have to watch the scoreboard every once in a while to see what is happening. I am far to busy keeping up with the kids to watch the game. :)
Here are some pics from last nights game. The Fam.

"Watching" the other kids.

It takes them a little while to warm up.

Giving Daddy a little pep talk :)

Best friends, going to the ballpark.

Random Pics...

Last week, Banty came to visit us for a few days. We loved having her here.
Brad and Papaw are almost finished with the swing set area in the yard. :)

Playgrounds, Cupcakes and CRAZY hair!

Brad has been working very hard on the kids play area in the backyard. Yesterday, Papaw came over to help with the assembly of the play set that Nana and Papa gave the kids. Let's just say it looked easy on the box, but it is still not finished! The guys worked on it for a good 3-4 hours and they still have some to do! Thank you to Daddy and Papaw for all your hard work! Also, Banty came into town last night to spend the week with us. She brought some cupcakes for the kids and we gave them to them last night. Mimi, Banty and I were laughing so hard at the kids...see pics below...

Hair by Daddy! He said she wanted all the bows in her hair!

Diving in head first!

She was very worried her hands were dirty!

After he finished his blue cupcake, he got Emmy's green one!

This was his "I'm finished" pose!

More???

It doesn't get much better than this!

That icing was some greasy stuff! Banty took them in to take a bath and the tub was blue and green when they were finished!

No More (Naked) Monkeys Jumping on the Bed...

This is a picture of what happens when two toddlers get creative. It is the only one that is blurry enough to share! On Saturday, I went to the grocery store and left Brad in charge of the kids. He was in the kitchen doing dishes while the kids were in the playroom. He heard them laughing hysterically at each other and went back to see what was going on. He found Tate with no diaper on and Emmy attempting to get hers off. They had gotten on the bed and were running around and jumping on the bed just laughing at each other. Brad went and grabbed the camera to show me what they had done. Like I said, there were funnier pics, just none that we can post on the Internet! :) Never a dull moment! Brad and I are always saying our house is a circus, guess that is true!

I GO BALLGAME!!!!!

Last night, Brad took Tate to the Missions/Roughriders playoff game to watch Cousin Josh pitch. He was so excited about getting to go. He had a great time, so much that he did not get to bed until about midnight. This morning we were talking and I said, "Tate is a party animal". Emmy repeated me and said, "Tata a pa-ty manimal!". So Funny. Tate and Papa

Chores...

While the kids were in Clifton, they really enjoyed being able to help with the chore of feeding the horses. Tate would wake up saying, "It's feed Blue Duck (one of the horses) time!" I had to include this goofy picture of Tate saying cheese!

Getting the horses some treats.

They really like the kids there because they get more than usual.

Emmy and her Dada!

Tate will put the lid on the cat food and say, "No Mouse!!!"

because Boots told him to put the lid on to keep the mice out.

Clean-up on aisle 2!

Last night, the kids thought they would get creative with their shopping cart. I guess Tate went shopping for a new sister, good thing he came home with a smart and beautiful one! :) They will take the cart and say, "I go shopin', Mama!"

I love the look on his face, it is the
"GEEE, how did she get in there?" look!
