I know…I know…there are a million pics in the next few posts, but I just could not decide on just a few pics from the beach. This was Lyla’s first time, and let’s just say…the sand is safe from her! She was not a huge fan of the “mess-y!!!” sand, but after day 3 we finally got her to walk in it and even sit for a few minutes. :) Again…LOTS.OF.PICS!!!

Dinner and Dessert

While in Houston, we went to dinner with some friends who moved to Houston a few years ago. We at a Ninfas and had dessert at a cupcake shop! Yum! The kids had a great time running around and eating all that sugar. :)

Houston Children’s Museum

On our way to the beach, we tagged along with Brad to Houston for a few days. He was working during the days, so we met my KD friend from Baylor, Crystal and her kids, Sarah and Connor, at The Houston Children’s Museum. The kids had a great time playing and exploring the museum, plus Crystal and I got to catch up with each other. :)

This was at the end of the day, so the kids are a little tired! :)

They got to shop in the grocery store…

Too bad Lyla thought all the food was real and it was really close to lunchtime…so she was a little disappointed she did not get the yogurt she picked out. :)

Then they went to the vet clinic to play with the animals…this was Lyla’s favorite part!

Locks of Love

A few weeks ago, Emmy decided she wanted to cut her hair and donate it to “Locks of Love”. So, one Saturday morning we went to Sweet and Sassy for the big cut! They cut off a total of 10 inches. It was sad to see all that beautiful hair go, but let me tell you…it is SO.MUCH.EASIER!!!!! No whining and complaining when it is time to wash, brush or fix it. Plus, I think it looks pretty darn cute on her. :)
