This was the first dance from the rehearsal last Thursday night. This is to Boogie Woogie Piggie. I had to add this from Facebook because it was taking FOREVER to get it on through blogger. Emmy is the second from the right.
Emmy has been in dance since last August. We just loved her teacher this year and she was in a group with some really sweet girls. I have enjoyed getting to know all the moms…
Emmy just LOVED being on the stage…I was afraid she might freak out, but no, she was just as comfortable up there as she could be! I think it made Brad a little nervous! :)
Here’s to many more recitals and dance classes…

Oh my! All I can say is we are in some serious trouble! :) This girl LOVES to dance and perform. :) I have to say, I was one proud Mama on Thursday and Saturday…I did not think I would get so excited and nervous for her! She did great (for being 3!)…and most importantly…she had a WONDERFUL time! I look forward to many more performances in the future…
She had some of the sweetest little girls in class with her this year!
Boots and Tate brought her some flowers for the rehearsal and her Daddy brought her some the night of the recital.
Mimi was so sweet to think of getting Emmy a cake for “her day”. It was complete with a ballerina princess, icing flowers and of course…it was P-I-N-K!!!
Sorry for all the pics…I just could not decide! :)
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it…I know Emmy loved seeing everyone!

While we were in San Antonio, we stayed at The Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch…if you ever need a neat place to stay I highly recommend it.

Emmy and her goofy goggles
They have a lazy river area with a beach…the kids loved floating around the river and playing in the sand.
At night, you can go down to the fire pits and roast marshmallows for S’mores….YUMMY!

After Memorial Day, Mimi took the kids and I to Sea World for a few days. It was the perfect week to go because elementary schools in Texas were still in school, so there was hardly anyone at Sea World…no crowds = happy mommy! We met Aunt Jo and Davis and my cousin Stacy and her daughter Kindal.

Davis, Tate, Emmy and Kindal all together when we got to the hotel
The first night we were there, we went to the Riverwalk and rode the tour boats before we ate some yummy mexican food.

Poor little Davis…he had been talking about Shamu for a month and he slept through the entire show! Here he is at the show with Aunt Jo…

Aunt Laci and Cousin Ellie met us at the park.
