The kids took their first plane ride this weekend. They were great on the way there and we were delayed on the way home, so that got a little interesting. They loved the plane and the bus we took from the car to the airport. It was easier than I thought it would be to travel with 2 toddlers. Of course, we sent all the luggage with Mimi and Papaw, so that helped out alot! :)

We took the kids to South Padre this past weekend for a family reunion. It was our first vacation with the kids and the first time they got to see the ocean. We had been talking about the ocean for weeks and the kids were really excited about it. Tate is a natural beach bum. He loved everything about it. Emmy was not too sure about the whole thing. She just stood and stared at the water. I am not sure we ever got her toes wet! In all, we had a great time, no one got sunburned and we had a great time visiting with everyone. We look forward to next years reunion.

Despite the fact that Miss Emmy never got her toes wet she was certainly fashionable! The Tater is quiet the handsome beach bum! Love the hat! Great photo of Drake/Greene family and the one of Papaw and Tate walking to the ocean! love banty
