Well, Miss Lyla is still in the NICU, but she is doing much better this afternoon. They have taken some chest x-rays and blood. The doctors have come to the conclusion her heavy breathing is caused from swallowing some amniotic fluid at birth. She is breathing better today and has even eaten a little out of a bottle. She has an IV for fluids and is taking a round of antibiotics, just in case. Hopefully, she will be moved tonight or tomorrow to the regular nursery. We will keep everyone updated.
