For school, Emmy got to bring home the Mr. Beary bag and journal. Each week, one child gets to take the bear home to spend the night and journal about the adventures they have together. This week, they have been studying the letter "E", so Emmy got to bring him home with her. We had to go on a bear hunt for things around the house that started with "E". We found an elephant, pictures of Emmy, pictures of Cousin Ellie, and eggs (Hey, there are not many things that start with "E"). Then we wrote in the journal about all the fun things we did (dance class, wresting with Daddy, prayers, etc.). Then the teacher read the journal to the class the next day.
