Our Week at the Ranch

We spent last week at the ranch for spring break. The kids and I had a great time with all the family. Thank you to Boots and Banty for letting us invade your house for the week! And thank you to Aunt Laci for making the trip to see us. We loved every second of it.

Tater

What a week for Tater! He officially started crawling this week! He is a crawling machine now. He crawls from room to room and loves to explore the house. Tate had a great time at the ranch. Boots bought him a new rocking horse. He got to see all the cows and horses at the ranch and got to meet the newest member of the family, Hank (Boots' yellow lab). Boots took Tater on long walks in the pasture and sat with him in the yard.

Emmy

Emmy had a great time at Boots and Banty's house last week. She tried whipped cream, played outside with Boots, picked flowers for Banty, got a flower girl dress for Uncle Rooster and Aunt Courtney's wedding, helped Aunt Courtney pick out her beautiful wedding dress, and she learned to say "DA DA". She is very proud of herself for learning this new sound. She sits on the floor and repeats it over and over again. We never doubted she would be the first one to talk! DA DA is pretty proud of it too!

Cousin Davis' Shower

Here are some pictures from the baby shower. We got to play with our Cousin Kindal. As you can see, it is very difficult to get 3 kids to sit still for a picture!! :) Tate was the life of the party entertaining everyone. There are not many pictures of Emmy because she fell asleep before the party got started!!!

Houston Trip

This weekend we made the long trip to Houston to visit Auntie Jo and family. The kids were great all weekend and loved sitting out by Auntie Jo's swimming pool. We were there for Cousin Davis' baby shower. He is due on April 24th.

We went to dinner with everyone to send him off on Sunday.

Feeling Better

Well, we are finally starting to feel a little better at our house. The kids had a virus last week. I think we are on the upswing of things. We hope everyone had a great weekend.

Valentine's Day 2006





For Valentine's Day Brad and Tate took Emmy and I out to Rockfish for dinner. We had a great night out. The kids were the center of attention at the restaurant.

Uncle Rooster and Aunt Coutrney's visit

This weekend Uncle Rooster and Courtney came to visit. We had a great time playing with babies and visiting. :)

Yesterday was Tate and Emmy's 7 month birthday. It is so hard to believe! Their first birthday will be here before we know it. They are growing up so fast and learn new things everyday.



They are both sitting up on their own and love to play with each other. They are very interested in their surroundings and are very observant.



Their days are filled with playing, sleeping, and eating. Emmy is starting to come around to baby food and Tate is still eating everything we give him.



They love for family and friends to come and visit. All you have to do is look at them and they will give you a huge grin. We are truly blessed each and everyday with Tate and Emmy.
