In the World of Tate...

What a boy! This kid has such an excitement for life. He lives each day to the fullest.

They are really enhjoying their playground in the backyard.

Looking for eggs

Tate loves to ride in the car with Sadie Jane. He says he is taking care of her.
Wrestling Daddy is a nightly activity.

He was really into the egg hunt at school this year. He would get an egg and want to eat the candy right then. :)

A funny Tate story...

On Tuesday night, Boots and Banty came to visit. We were listening to the baby's heartbeat and Banty told Tate to tell the baby that Banty loved it. Tate leaned over my belly and said...

"Banty loves ME!"

Happy Snow Day!

On Tuesday morning we woke up to a beautiful snow covered morning. Tate was excited to get his picture taken out in the snow before school, but Emmy was not as thrilled...
She thought the porch was a better place to be...

The San Antonio Zoo...

A few weeks ago, the kids went down to San Antonio with Boots and Banty to see Aunt Laci, Uncle Todd and Cousin Ellie. It was Aunt Laci's birthday, so they went to the zoo for the day. The kids had a great time! Breakfast before the zoo.

Expecting...

Just when you think your kids are not listening to you, they surprise you like this...
We have been talking to the kids about the baby in Mommy's belly for a few weeks now and they just kind of look at us like we are crazy and move on with what they are doing. Well, on Saturday, Brad walked in our room and Emmy was on the bed with a lunp under her nightgown. Brad said, "Emmy what is that?" She said, "I have a baby in my belly like Mommy." She had taken a babydoll and put it in her nightgown. Too funny! The little Mommy

I guess this is the after birth picture! :)

Valentine's Dinner

Ok, I know these are a few weeks late, but I have been a little distracted lately! :) On Valentine's Day, Daddy and Tate took Emmy and I to Rockfish for dinner. We had a great time. My handsome Valentine!

Baby Update...

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and everything looked great. We got to see the baby again and hear the heartbeat. The rate was 165 bpm. He gave us a due date of September 25th, but since it will be a c-section, we are thinking September 18th. I will try to get some sonogram pics posted soon. Thank you for all your prayers, we will keep everyone updated.

Yes, there is another Greene on the way...

Well, we are excited to announce there will be another little Greene coming in late September. I believe the official due date is September 29th, but I go to my first appointment with the doctor on Friday and I hope to get a better idea. We will be 9 weeks this Thursday. This is something we have prayed for since the kids were born. We knew we would love to have another precious baby, but were not sure if we would be able to on our own. Well, God is good and he has given us the opportunity to have another child. Please continue to pray for the baby. We saw the heartbeat 2 weeks ago and everything looked good. Also, pray this morning/noon/ evening/ all day sickness will subside soon!!! I know it is all worth it in the end. :)

More updates to come...

Happy Birthday, Mimi!

Last Saturday, we celebrated Mimi's birthday with yummy hamburgers (thanks Papaw) and some strawberry cake. After dinner, we took the kids out and let them ride in the gator... "So, Tate, how fast did you say this thing goes??"
"Just hold on, Brody B.!"

Emmy was the cargo.

AHHHHHHHH!!!!! The blond is driving....abort, abort!!!

I do have to say she is about the worst driver I have seen. She is definately a blonde driver. She will be pushing the pedal and just look the other way and run into everything!

Fun At the Ranch...

A few weeks ago, Brad took the kids to Clifton while I was at a Women's Retreat at our church. The kids had a great time playing with everyone. Here are some pictures from the trip. Thank you for sending them, Aunt Laci! Boots, Tate, Emmy Quana and Hank on the way to the barn.
