Meeting Miss Emerson

Yesterday, Lyla and I went over to The Lott's house to meet
Miss Emerson. Her and Lyla are 7 weeks apart. Amanda and I have been friends since the 4th grade (20 years!!!!). I enjoyed visiting with Amanda and the girls had their first official playdate, even though they both slept through most of it! Thank you so much for having us over! Miss Emerson is a doll!Who would have thought 20 years ago we would be taking this picture!

Aren't they just too cute?

Miss Lyla Bug!
I think this is the first true smile I have gotten on camera.

I look forward to watching Miss Emerson grow,
hopefully someday they will get to move back to Texas!!! :)

Tubes, again?!?!?!

***Update***
All went well this morning with the surgery. He is such a trouper when it comes to the hospital and all this ear stuff. Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts. He should be back to his old self by tomorrow.
Say a little prayer for our Tater tomorrow morning at 7:30. He will be going back in to put a tube in the right ear. We went last week and he had another ear infection in the right ear (they were unable to put one back in that ear in August because it was too infected). So, we went to the ENT this morning and it just so happened they had a cancellation for tomorrow morning, so here we go again! I will post tomorrow after surgery. Pray for a safe surgery and recovery before Christmas Day and that this will solve our ear problems, at least for a while! :)

Christmas Lights

Last year, we started a tradition with the kids of going to see Christmas lights in the neighborhood in our pajamas. Tonight, we all got early baths and put on our Christmas jammies. The kids enjoyed the lights. Here are some pictures before we left... All ready to go...

Here is Tate's version of the nativity. He loves to add some extras.
Notice the Air Force plane, the extra animals and don't forget the spare Baby Jesus from another nativity in the house.

On Wednesday night,

the kids learned "Happy Birthday, Jesus" at choir. Here they are this morning singing.

Tate's "Deer"

Brad went hunting last week and showed Tate some of the pictures from the trip. Well, after a few minutes we hear Tate say, "I am going to get my hat and go huntin'" Poor Huckleberry became the "deer" and Tate told Brad to take some pictures of him and his "deer". What a good sport, Huckleberry!! And what is a hunting trip without a sleeping bag? Here he is trying Brad's out...
